Victor Valdes : 6 - have some work at first half but not much on second half.

Puyol : 6.5 - Did alright job.

Chygrinskiy : 7.5 - After a slow start began to assert himself, and even chipped in with some great attacking play.

Pique : 7.5 - Another near-faultless performance from the centre-back, who seldom looked troubled.

Abidal: 7.5 - Put a leash on Pedro Leon after a while and looked good on the wing as well. Much improved on last season already.

Xavi : 7.5 - A poor first half and an excellent second, Xavi tested Ustari and also was dangerous in the pass.

Yaya Toure : 7 - A very much acceptable performance from the Ivorian, although he could have been better in the tackle.

Keita : 7 - Excellent physically, but his long-range shooting wasn't up to its usual standard.

Pedro: 5.5 - although his positioning and first touch are good but still lack experiences.

Ibrahimovic : 7.5 - A joke of a first half followed up with an excellent showing in the second. A goal and an assist, does he get better?

Jeffren : 6- same with Pedro, need to get more match minutes to know how to trouble the opponent defence. However, he showed some promises but need to improve on final decision.

Substitutes:

L.Messi: 8 - Just what the doctor ordered. On came the little Argentine to completely change the game, and score a goal .

Iniesta: 7.5 - Somewhat quieter than Messi but still a positive influence.

D.Alves: 6.5- ok game as Puyol replacement in second half
