Much has been made about Barcelona’s squad depth and their substitutes' bench made up mostly of youngsters from their cantera, and the size of their dressing room will be put to the test over the next week as Pep Guardiola prepares his side for the trip to Getafe, just four days before travelling to Milan to face Inter in the Champions League opener.

The good news for ‘El Tricampeon’ is that Andres Iniesta is finally back to full match fitness and ready for action, although it has been confirmed that he will not be starting the game at Geta’s Coliseum Alfonso Perez and will instead be gradually re-introduce to competitive football.

Defender, Rafa Marquez is also back from his pre-season lay-off but he has been omitted for technical reasons, according to the club’s official website. But a player who could be thrown into action on Saturday is new arrival, centre-back Dmytro Chygrynskiy.

Those who could be given a rest include South Americans, Dani Alves and Lionel Messi, both of whom returned late to the squad following World Cup qualifying commitments. The Argentine forward, however, could still feature prominently in this game after young Bojan Krkick was left out due to an injury he picked up while on duty with Spain’s U-21 side in midweek. As such, Guardiola has been left with the 18-man convoy below:

Goalkeepers: Victor Valdes, Pinto

Defenders: Dani Alves, Puyol, Pique, Chygrynskiy, Abidal, Maxwell

Midfielders: Yaya Toure, Busquets, Keita, Jeffren, Xavi, Iniesta

Forwards: Pedro, Ibrahimovic, Messi, Henry

We ask you to leave your choices in the comments feature below using hyphens to separate positions, working from left to right. For example, here is the side that could line up in a 4-3-3 formation:

Valdes – Puyol, Chygrynskiy, Pique, Abidal – Xavi, Busquets, Keita – Pedro, Ibrahimovic, Henry

Visca el Barca!
