Guardiola warns that Atletico Madrid is more dangerous "for being wounded"

Barca
coach Pep Guardiola has released a warning to his players to beware of the situation that is Atletico Madrid at the bottom of the standings, and stressed that in these circumstances the Madrid team is more dangerous. "

"Atletico is great. We do not start well last year. I would rather it arrived in better spirits. If there is a dangerous team in these circumstances it is Atletico Madrid," reasoned the Barca coach to reporters in the City Sports.

He insisted that he preferred a confrontation with the mattress on the team that the rival was much more "optimistic" about how it is now, with a failed startup in the Champions League and relegation group after two days of the start of the League . Guardiola claims his side is "not perfect" and that the fact of being in the early stages of the League, Barca still has room for improvement, but stressed that he was "satisfied" the time of the Blaugrana.

"There is only one comparison in which we will win, for all those made last year: we have started it better. But other comparisons we are going to lose: in goals, in records that broke last year, and so on. "added Guardiola, which led him to talk about the comparisons that registered between Samuel Eto'o and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. "Comparisons with Ibrahimovic Eto'o will lose them all, but I do not care. We are here to help. Zlatan again played extremely well at Getafe and Milan. He moved well and I am more than happy with it," he said.

Entiende el enfado de Henry He understands the anger of Henry

In another of his attackers, Frenchman Thierry Henry, who complained at being substituted in Milan when he thought he could make more, Barcelona's coach acknowledged his error in part in change, and gave the Frenchman every right to complain. "I understand their reaction. He felt strong. But I do not give more importance," appreciated.

For tomorrow's match against Atletico Madrid (22:00 pm Camp Nou), Guardiola did not disclose what plans with Iniesta and Marquez for the meeting, but noted that the first "can not fail," referring to suffer a relapse after overcoming the injury, while the Mexican said he had "like that between" on your computer. "More than I want the fans have not seen play Andres Iniesta. But we have to measure the minutes you have to play," he said.

Chygrynskiy shows "waiting" at his debut at the Camp Nou

"I do not have to prepare for this moment too. I am excited, although I must be calm," says 'Chygry'

Duel with Kun and Forlan: "We have to concentrate on personal rivals because we attack and defend all"

Dmytro Chygrynskiy is ready to debut at the Camp Nou after it with the team in Getafe in a duel in which also was part of what it can bring. For will be "special time" living with a period of "calm" but always "waiting" to hear what it's like stepping on the feud Barca FC Barcelona as a player. "I do not have to prepare for this moment too. I am excited, but I must be calm," he said.

In exclusive statements to the media club 'Chygry' said more than possible on their debut at home to the many minutes that add up Piqué, touched, and Puyol, who is a special moment for any player who comes to Barca because is when you meet the Catalans, Barca fans and everyone who has worked for me here. The truth is that I am looking forward and looking forward to this game. "

Peligro Kun y Forlán Danger Kun and Forlan

The central new Barca, who could not be in the Champions League having already played the competition with Shakhtar, also explained that I was in the Nou Camp as a fan twice, the last course in the game against Valencia and against Sporting - when it closed its signing - the other day, and the atmosphere was incredible, "something that gives a rough idea of" what it must feel to walk on grass, so I look forward to this moment. "

Atleti Aguero and Forlan will be a good test to gauge their security defenses. Chygrynskiy expects "big game" since before "there will be a difficult opponent. The Ukrainian sets aside private duels that may arise at a posh front: "What matters is how you play the team because if we dominate the game as usual. We do not have to concentrate on personal rivals for attacking and defending all ".

Guardiola subtraction significance to the anger of Henry and passes page

Thierry Henry
passed Pep Guardiola's side and not his hand.
He sat on the bench and began to gesture visibly angry. He had just been replaced by Andres Iniesta in the 77th minute of Wednesday's match against Inter Milan, but also just be a possible penalty by Samuel. So the more generous interpretation would see in a monumental gestures of French pissed with the match referee reviewed the play. However, the suspicion that the reason for his angry reaction was another hung in the air.And he confirmed once 'Titi' appeared before reporters in the mixed area of San Siro. The striker admitted that "yes I was angry because he wanted out. I was feeling very well and Maicon's eyes I was dead. I saw that could do harm. That yes, Henry wanted the matter be settled there and said that neither had asked or would ask your technical explanation. These are things of the moment," he said. Also Mr.'ll let the thing go no further. Guardiola subtraction significance to the anger of Gallic because it is a gesture that has seen many times during his football career and I can understand. I also apologize because it assumes it is true that replaced him when he was better, but it was a change that had already decided and believed that Iniesta could give greater depth to the team.

The coach also believes that the reaction comes from the French due to anxiety to please and help Barça win the game. 'Titi' played with heart, with the intention of being someone important in a big game, but put his head Guardiola. As the meeting was being developed, with the boat overturned in the interest and the area close to reaching goal, Barca team needed a change in offensive trident to decide the clash. And the man pointed out several reasons for leaving the pitch was Henry.Primero, because although he felt stronger than the reality showed that Maicon had a hard time overflowing with sufficiency for her band, second because both Ibrahimovic and Messi were showing far more dangerous than him (the Swede finished with 4 shots on goal for 6 of the Argentine, while 'Titi' stayed in one) and third, because I had seen a yellow card for entering the pitch without permission and this action, coupled with the possible penalty of Samuel, he had the blood boiling. La expulsión rondaba. The expulsion was around.

The positive case was observed how the Frenchman continues to maintain that spirit ambitious despite his 32 years as it has won everything with both the selection and with the clubs in which you have been. the 'Titi' last season is now being targeted towards the next games, starting with the coach, and for that episodes like Wednesday to be analyzed with the ease with which the technician makes

Spanish Inquisition: Are Barcelona Getting Value For Money With Messi?

As Argentina’s finest wins a new and lucrative contract with the Blaugrana, Goal.com’s Anthony Wright wonders if it really is all about the money.

At 22 years of age, Lionel Messi is already one of the world’s top earners, European conquistador, Spanish champion, UEFA Club Footballer of the Year, Olympic hero… the list is endless. Just how much better can he get?

Last year, Messi contributed 38 goals and 18 assists in all competitions, but the mercurial Argentine still has more to give Barcelona. His new contract, worth an estimated €12 million per season for a further seven years, makes him one of the biggest earners in world football. Of course, his status as the club’s top earner had been taken by Zlatan Ibrahimovic during the summer, thereby necessitating a new deal for Messi.

His minimum fee release clause was barely needed. The elite football clubs currently operate in a financial galaxy of their own, far apart from the world’s recession, but even Real Madrid president Florentino Perez or the Middle Eastern owners at Manchester City would struggle to cobble together €250m for one player.

However, Joan Laporta’s club are about to pay out €84m over the course of seven years to keep Messi at the club. Although he is arguably the world’s best player and deserving of the tag of ‘highest earner’ at his club, is this also a publicity stunt by Laporta?

The World's Top Earners - Value For Money?

More than anything else, Florentino Perez craves attention for his club. Lavish barely describes his fanatical spending spree this summer – Perez spent almost as much in transfer fees as it costs to launch a space shuttle – but it succeeded in bringing the armchair fans rushing back to buy Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka replica shirts.

Whether it succeeds in bringing trophies is another matter. Ronaldo’s transfer fee of €96m eclipsed even the world record transfer, albeit a brief one, of Kaka at €65m, while the Portuguese is on an annual salary similar to Messi. By comparison, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Barcelona’s marquee signing, is on a paltry €9.5m every year after signing for €46m plus Samuel Eto’o.

With all this in mind, and Messi’s declaration that he wants to stay at Barcelona for life anyway, was his lucrative new deal ultimately necessary? Would the Blaugrana be doing themselves a favour if they had given him €10m, still making him the club’s highest earner, and saved themselves €14m in the process? Or has football reached the stage where such a sum is an adequate price to pay for a little more publicity.

Comments on Henry and Ibrahimovic performances against Inter Milan

What do you think about Henry and Ibrahimovic Performances?

Player Rating: Inter Milan- FC Barcelona (0-0)

Valdes: 7.5/10. Had some very good saves, was always alert, and spread the ball well. A bit slow on one of the backpasses which nearly gave me a heart attack, but a good game.

Alves: 8/10. Kept at it for the whole game. Was able to do very well defensively, and was in pretty much all of our moves going forward. Good set-up to Keita as well.

Puyol: 7/10. Caught a couple of times for speed, but did very well in terms of positioning.

Pique: 8/10. Same as Puyol. Was caught for speed a couple of times, but his hard running, solid in defence, looks confident as usual, and his good passing going forward were great.

Abidal: 7/10. Defensively very good, especially when Millito was pretty much clear on goal. Also had alot of the ball going forward, nice distribution, and acted as a good release valve.

Yaya: 6.5/10. Great on the ball, but his positioning during Inters counter attacks was very off tonight. Also not his best game going forward either.

Keita: 6/10. Really should have scored the one Dani Alves gave him. Passed well, but he never gave a killer pass or got in position for one either. Wasted a couple of shots too.

Xavi: 8.5/10. I can't remember a single mis-placed pass from him. Was fantastic on the ball, was fantastic attacking the Inter defence, and tracked back well.

Henry: 5.5/10. Dissapointting first half to say the least, but he picked up a little in the second half. Was off the pace for most of the game, although he did have a 10-15 minute pass when he played fantastic, not much else though.

Ibra: 6.5/10. Did well with the ball at his feet, made some very good runs where Xavi almost got him, connected well with Messi, but he did miss a very getable chance in the first half.

Messi: 8.5/10. Kept running, kept attacking, and kept making chances. A couple of great chances as well from outside the area, he was our most dangerous attacking option.

SUBS:

Iniesta: 6.5/10. Didn't do too much, still off the pace, but he did make a couple of good runs. Can't wait till his back to full speed.
